The mission of the Impart Wisdom & Wellness Center (IWWC) is to empower our students, clients, and community in connecting with Spirit/Source/Divinity in whatever way is meaningful for them.  This connection allows healing of the body, mind, and spirit, which is necessary to living a rich and rewarding life.

IWWC Founder, Anne Reith, Ph.D., is also the Director of the Institute for Mediumship, Psychic, Astrological, and Reiki Training (IMPART).  She uses her 30+ year background as a teacher and a Psychologist to provide a rich learning environment for her students.  In addition to classes covering topics such as psychic development, mediumship, Reiki, and Karuna Reiki, Dr. Reith also offers Certification Programs for psychics, mediums, and healers through IMPART.

In addition to IMPART, the IWWC provides beautiful and serene rental space to other teachers and presenters.   The IWWC is also a wellness center where practitioners of all kinds can meet with their clients (e.g., healers, hypnotherapists, EFT practitioners, coaches, counselors, psychics, mediums).  Additionally, the IWWC has a retail section that provides relevant products, such as crystals, pendulums, angel cards, tarot cards, runes, books, and CD’s.

Part-time Program Coordinator & Office Assistant
(20-30 hours per week, combination virtual & in-office position)

We are seeking a metaphysically-oriented individual who is looking for an opportunity to become a long-term member of the IWWC/IMPART team.

LOCATION

  • Virtual Program Coordinator Position (75%): Employee’s Home Office
  • Onsite Office Assistant Position (25%): Impart Wisdom & Wellness Center, 540 N. Golden Circle Dr., Suite #108, Santa Ana, CA 92705

HOURS (Total = 20-30 per week)

  • Virtual Program Coordinator Position: 15-25 hours per week. Must be available Monday through Friday and occasional weekend hours.
  • In-office Office Assistant Position: Hours will vary but typically will include (a) 4 hours one weekday afternoon (2:30 to 6:30 p.m.), (b) 1 or 2 Thursday evenings each month, and (c) 5-8 hours on days when special events occur (8 times a year). 

GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Virtual Program Coordinator Position:

  • Oversee the implementation for the IMPART educational and certification programs from launch to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and to required quality standards.
  • Work with IWWC and IMPART faculty and staff to successfully plan, promote, enroll, and coordinate various classes and events from inception to completion.
  • Serve as the Program Coordinator for IMPART Certification programs. This role includes fielding and following up with leads from students who are interested in the Certification program, discussing their goals and options, explaining requirements for the different programs, and signing them up for the program that they are interested in. The Program Coordinator will also work with existing certification students to make sure they stay on track to meet their program completion deadlines.
  • Coordinate and oversee special onsite IMPART and IWWC events, such as educational workshops and fairs.
  • Manage the IWWC Room Rental Program and Featured Practitioner Marketing Program.   This includes fielding incoming leads, presenting the benefits of each program, preparing and sending out contracts, booking rental space, and obtaining signed contracts for our featured practitioner advertising program.
  • Oversee all calendar updates, staffing at events, task assignments, and the production of all program material and communication, including marketing, internet communication (e.g., email templates), and web-based.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, and renters.
  • Accurately analyze challenging social situations and adopt a calm demeanor while implementing an appropriate course of action.
  • Be cross-trained in all IWWC/IMPART roles and be willing to provide back-up if a staff member is unavailable.
  • Other duties as assigned.

In-office Office Assistant Position:

  • Reception Duties:  Welcoming and answering questions for students, retail customers, and renters.
  • Handling retail sales payments for metaphysical store.
  • Handling payments for upcoming workshops, certification programs, IMPART vouchers, etc.
  • Updating Google Drive class lists with new student enrollments/payments.
  • Processing credit card payments for students and retail customers using Square Card Reader and/or PayPal Virtual Terminal.
  • Stocking kitchen supplies and retail area with products.
  • Assisting in the set up and breakdown of events.
  • Duplicating fliers and creating manuals for classes and events.
  • Assembly of retail products.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of recent (last 1-2 years) administrative experience and be competent to hit the ground running with the below specific software and technology skills. Experience within an educational environment in an administrative or program coordinator role is a plus.
  • 2-year college degree or equivalent experience.
  • Must have fully functional home office including newer PC Laptop with Windows 7 or higher, 2010 or higher version of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, high-speed reliable internet connection, printer, scanning capabilities, newer smart phone, quiet/private space to work out of, without interruption.
  • Is self-managed and able to work independently with little direction.
  • Is available to attend weekday evening classes and special events at the IWWC, which is located in Santa Ana, CA.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills using tact, patience, and courtesy.
  • Excellent oral and written skills including English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary.
  • Effectively deal with confidential information.
  • Extremely detailed-oriented.
  • Able to effectively/efficiently organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Dedicated to excellence in work performance.
  • Positive, confident, “can-do” attitude.

  • Experience with web-based marketing is a plus.
  • A basic understanding and appreciation of metaphysics.

  • Must live in Orange County and have own car.

 BASIC & COMPUTER SKILLS PREFERRED

  • Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2010 or higher version of Outlook, MS Word, and Excel.

  • Website/Blog Platform: WordPress (editing text, photos, audio, video within WordPress or other content management systems).
  • Email Marketing Program: Mailchimp (or experience with other email marketing programs).
